Welcome to My Personal Page
Thank you for coming to my personal race page. I will be participating in the 2019 CT RACE IN THE PARK, under the team name, Sue Pease's Pals!
As many of you know, My Mom, Susan Van Dorn-Pease passed away from breast cancer on April 27, 2001, at the young age of 61.
My Mom, and siblings, Tonya Malloy and Phil Pease started participating along with our Aunt, Sally Van Dorn - Johnson in 1995, then named, Race for the Cure.
Since my Mom's passing we have continued this family tradition to keep her memory alive. Sue Pease's Pals was created by Sally Van Dorn - Johnson, and she has now passed "The hat" to me. I want to thank you, Aunt Sally, for the many years you have kept this going!
As part of my participation, I have committed to raising money to support the Connecticut Breast Health Initiative (CT BHI) in finding a cure for breast cancer. CT BHI provides much-needed grants to researchers in Connecticut to support them as they search for the cure and educate the public about breast cancer.
I am very excited to be joining so many others who want to find a cure for breast cancer. Please consider joining me as a participant in the event or make a donation to help me reach my fundraising goal. Every little bit counts. You can check back to this page to see my progress along the way!
I greatly appreciate your support of my participation. I can not thank you enough for your donation and support.
Together we will find the cure!
